Board staff schedules periodic training to assist clients in meeting the requirements of Chapter 10A. Chapter 10A applies to candidates for state-level offices and to party units, political committees and political funds that are active in state-level elections. Classes in the use of the Campaign Finance software are scheduled in both election and nonelection years. Training in compliance with Chapter 10A, and in filling out reports required of state-level candidates, political committees and party units are scheduled during an election year.

Campaign Finance Reporter Session (Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows is required.) - provides instruction on the use of campaign finance software. This training will provide a complete introduction to Campaign Finance Reporter. Attendees will leave with enough knowledge to set up their committees, record all of the usual types of financial transactions, and to create and file reports with the Board. Compliance Training - provides a review of the contribution and expenditure limits, and record keeping requirements, contained in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 10A. Chapter 10A applies to candidates for state-level offices and to party units, political committees, and political funds that are active in state-level elections. Parking - Parking meters are available on both sides of Cedar Street in front of the Centennial Office Building. These meters accept quarter or dollar coins or may be paid online by following the posted instructions. Meters are also available on both sides of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, which runs between the Centennial Office Building and the Judicial Center, as well as on the Orange Level of the parking ramp behind the Centennial Office Building. Enter the ramp from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Meters on MKL Jr. Blvd and in the Centennial orange ramp use pay stations that accept cash or credit cards.
